Welcome to the website of Somatic Health and Wellness. By accessing this website and booking our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.

The term "Somatic Health and Wellness," "us," "we," or "our" refers to the sole proprietorship operating in Calgary, Alberta. The term "you" refers to the user or viewer of our website or the client booking a session.

1. Scope of Services

Somatic Health and Wellness provides in-person Registered Massage Therapy (RMT) and somatic bodywork sessions within Calgary, Alberta.

We do not provide virtual consultations or remote treatment.

The information provided on this website is for educational and informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

2. Booking and Payments

All appointments are booked through our third-party Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and scheduling platform, Noterro.

By booking an appointment, you agree to provide accurate financial and personal contact information. Credit card processing and storage are securely handled entirely through Noterro’s integrated payment processing systems. Somatic Health and Wellness does not directly store your credit card numbers on its local servers.

3. Cancellation and No-Show Policy

By booking an appointment with Somatic Health and Wellness, you explicitly agree to the following billing terms:

Late Cancellation: If you cancel or reschedule your appointment with less than 24 hours' notice, you agree to a late cancellation fee of $25, which will be automatically charged to your credit card on file.

No-Show: If you fail to arrive for your scheduled appointment without providing any prior notice, you agree to a no-show fee of $50, which will be automatically charged to your credit card on file.

4. Minors and Consent

Users and clients must be at least 18 years of age to independently book a session.

Individuals under the age of 18 require the explicit written consent of a parent or legal guardian prior to receiving any treatment. A parent or guardian must be present for the initial intake process.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law in the Province of Alberta, Somatic Health and Wellness shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of this website or the inability to access services.

6. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta.
